Thank you for your interest in GlySens Incorporated (“GlySens”) and GlySens’s website located at www.glysens.com (the “Site”). We are pleased to provide this privacy policy (this “Policy”) to inform you of our practices with respect to how we collect and use personally identifiable information about persons who visit this Site.

By using this Site or otherwise providing personally identifiable information to GlySens, you consent to the following terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not access or otherwise use the Site or any information or materials contained on the Site. Your use of the Site, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Use, available at [INSERT URL] and incorporated by reference into this Policy, including its applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes.

What we collect. You may visit this Site without providing any personally identifying information to learn about GlySens and its products and services. We may automatically collect information about your visit, through cookies, web beacons, log files, java script, and other technologies. The data that we and our service providers regularly collect about visitors to this Site (e.g., number of visitors, browser type, pages accessed, duration of visit, etc.) does not enable us to identify you. We may collect the name or Internet protocol address of your Internet server, but this information generally does not reveal your identity.
The only personally identifiable information that we collect about you, such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or other information, is what you voluntarily submit to us by sending us correspondence through this Site or applying for employment. If you do not choose to communicate with us, your visit to this Site will not provide us with information by which we could personally identify you. If you have communicated with us and no longer wish to receive our communications, you may contact webmaster@glysens.com to delete your personally identifiable information from GlySens’s system.
How we collect it. GlySens collects your personally identifiable information when you correspond with us or complete a form on this Site.

Use of Information. GlySens may use your personally identifiable information to respond to your correspondence, to provide you with any materials or information that you have requested, to send information to you as requested, to contact you when reasonably necessary, to evaluate your application for employment if applicable, and to administer this Site. We may also use your information to protect the safety, rights, property, or security of GlySens, the Site, any third party, or the general public; to detect, prevent, stop, or otherwise address security, technical issues, fraud, and other illegal or harmful activities; to use as evidence in litigation or comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; plan for potential business transactions; and to enforce this Policy or our Terms of Use. GlySens also uses aggregated information about the use of the Site to evaluate our users’ preferences, improve the Site, and monitor use of the Site. Such information contains no personally identifiable user information.

How We Share Your Information. Except as described in this Policy, GlySens will not transfer any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. GlySens does reserve the right to disclose your information as we believe is reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, or court order. In addition, GlySens may also disclose such information to business partners or third party service providers whom GlySens employs to provide services on its behalf (such as marketing and information gathering services). GlySens may transfer to, or share your personally identifiable information with, such business partners or service providers only to the extent the disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to enable such business partners or service providers to fulfill their obligations to GlySens or otherwise improve the services offered by the Site. Lastly, GlySens may disclose your personally identifiable information upon a transfer or sale to another entity of all or substantially all of GlySens’s assets or stock in GlySens’s line of business to which this Policy relates or upon any other corporate reorganization.

Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms. To facilitate your use of this Site, we may use “cookies.” A cookie is a small amount of data that our servers transfer to your browser and that only our servers can read. When you access certain areas on this Site, a cookie file may capture your username, unique session identifier number, and other session data to enable you to more easily utilize various features on this Site or traverse through this Site’s various screens. If you do not wish to utilize cookies, you may disable or delete them from within your Internet browser application by accessing the security or privacy settings. You may be required to have cookies enabled to access certain portions of this Site.

Clear GIFs are small pieces of code embedded invisibly on web pages, not stored on your hard drive, which often work in conjunction with cookies. We may use clear GIFs in connection with our Services to, among other things, track the activities of users, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Site usage. We and our service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML emails to our customers, to help us track email response rates, identify when our emails are viewed, and track whether our emails are forwarded.
Pixel tags (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or clear GIFs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, though, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages, not stored on your hard drive. We might use clear GIFs to track the activities of users of our Services, to help us manage content, and compile statistics about usage. We and our service providers also might use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to our customers, to help us track e-mail response rates, identify when our e-mails are viewed, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.

Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. For more information about Do Not Track signals, see the description available at http://www.allaboutdnt.com/. GlySens does not knowingly gather any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. You must be 13 years of age or older to access the Site. GlySens has no interest in collecting information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.

If you choose to visit a third party’s website or use its products or services, please be aware that the third party’s privacy policy, and not GlySens’s, will govern your activities and any information you disclose while interacting with the third party.
Security. GlySens employs procedural and technological measures reasonably designed to protect your personally identifiable information from loss or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These methods may include use of encryption and firewall technology. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.
Updating Your Information. If you wish to update or change any personally identifiable information that you have provided to GlySens, please contact webmaster@glysens.com.

Policy Changes. GlySens reserves the right to change this Policy and will post any revisions on this Site. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of this web site will be subject to the then-current privacy policy.
Miscellaneous. This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A. without regard to conflict of laws principles. The parties agree that any claim shall be brought in the federal and state courts located in San Diego County, California, U.S.A., and both parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts. If any provision hereof shall be held illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, in whole or in part, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it legal, valid, and enforceable, and the remaining provisions of this Policy shall not be affected thereby. The failure of GlySens to enforce any right or provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. This Policy, together with the Terms of Use, constitute the parties’ entire understanding regarding the use of the Site and personally identifiable information collected from persons who visit the Site and correspond with GlySens, and supersede any and all other prior or contemporaneous agreements, whether written or oral.
